PARTY GIRL is a nod to Parker Posey's run of independent films in the 90s. Party Girl (1995) sees Posey portray a character forced to reconcile her downtown NYC club scene antics with real life responsibilities like rent and finding a career. This EP finds JUANNY at a similar crossroads, walking the tightrope that is pursuing music as a career while making ends meet in one of the most expensive metro areas in the US.

PARTY GIRL is an homage to staying independent and staying fun.

Sonically, JUANNY pulls from '00s reggaeton, modern dembow and vintage Miami bass while incorporating metallic synths, recontextualized samples and aggressive sound design. PARTY GIRL features San Francisco singer La Favi and a remix from Colombian production heavyweight CRRDR.
